The Deluxe Caddy Lite is a simple to use yet disarmingly sophisticated GPS Rangefinder.  In addition to all of the standard applications we now expect from this kind of device such as distance calculation, hazard display and drive distance recording, the Caddy Lite does away with many of the niggling problems we have all experienced with other GPS devices.

Hands free operation. The Caddy Lite is designed so that you can switch it on as you arrive at the club, select the course you are playing and you should not need to tough it again until the round of golf is completed.  There is no need to fiddle, press buttons, manually select new holes or interrupt your game or your partners game in any way whatsoever. The Caddy Lite automatically detects which hole you are on and gives you the distances you need when you need them with no fuss and no requirement for manual intervention.  All the distances you need on each and every hole are automatically provided.  The Caddy Lite displays the distance to the front of the green you are playing – EVEN if you are on an adjoining fairway or through the green.  It will also show how far it is TO or TO CARRY up to three primary hazards on each hole: Bunkers, Water, Dog Legs, Fairway Run Out, Hollows or Paths etc., and as these hazards become out of play, the display will automatically change to the Front of the Green, Centre of Green and Back of Green.

Easy to use.  The Caddy Lite is supplied with a simple-to-install and easy-to-use software application designed to be utterly user-friendly from the outset.  You can establish simply yet vital owner preferences such as displaying distance information in yards or meters, and setting the sex of the user (important from stroke, index and par information).

Course maps.  Caddy Maps are created either by a sophisticated Differential GPS receiver or by grid based ariel photography overlaid with Mercator Lat/Lon grid references.   Up to 10 different course maps can be stored on the Caddy Lite at any moment in time, and further maps can be downloaded and replaced as many times as required.  Upon registering the product you will automatically receive two complimentary course map credits which can be redeemed against maps of your choice.  Thereafter you can purchase individual course maps for £7.50 each, or purchase an annual subscription for only £30 and this will allow you download any of the available Caddy maps for the duration of your subscription at no additional cost.  There are currently nearly 3,000 golf courses worldwide that have been mapped for the Caddy Lite, over half of which are in the UK.
